Operating lights are a vital component of any operating theatre and are available in a wide range of configurations and features. Reliance Health has access to a number of world-class operating light manufacturers, allowing us to source the best operating light solution to fit our client’s specific requirements.

We can integrate operating light systems into Theatre Control Panels (TCP), allowing full control of the system from both the light head and a central interface. Alarms can be set up on the TCP, which will alert clinical staff of any electrical faults within the battery backup system.
All of our operating light systems are LED and include battery backups. LED operating lights provide the brightest level of lux at the lowest possible temperature to provide the safest option of lighting. LED bulbs are also the most economical option, given their energy efficiency and long lifespan. The battery back-ups installed into the light system provide autonomy for 3 hours should there be a fault with the main electricity source which complies with the requirements set out within the HTM06-01 regulations.
